Early Life and Sporting Beginnings

Jan Frodeno’s journey into triathlon greatness began in Saarbrücken, Germany. As a young athlete, he showed promise in swimming, and in 2000, transitioned into triathlon. He qualified for the German national team in 2002 and began training at the Olympic training center.

In 2007, he won the German Championships.
